This month Canon celebrates 30 years of its EOS system. In this time, the company has launched almost 100 film and digital EOS cameras and over 100 EF lenses.
To mark the anniversary, Canon UK has launched its first range of branded clothing and accessories. A selection of the items feature designs of Canon’s cameras from the EOS archive and hark back even to Canon’s very beginning, more than 80 years ago.
Have you seen Canon’s original ‘Kwanon’ logo, first introduced in 1934? If not, you and others around you can with a ‘Kwanon’ logo t-shirt, part of the vintage design series.
One of the stand out items is the scale model replica of Canon’s first 35mm camera, the 1936 Canon Hansa, available for £57.99 and complete with display case.
Clothing items include t-shirts (60% bamboo fibre), jackets, sweaters, hoodies and hats, while accessories available include umbrellas and, yes you’ve got it, baby bibs. Might need more than a lens cloth to clean those.
Prices start at £8.29 for the bibs through to £124.99 for the windbreaker jacket. All items in the new range are available from Canon’s online store.
