If you need one, you’ve probably got one on order already - Nikon have announced a fourth ‘Perspective Correction’ (also known as tilt-shift) lens to their lineup. It’s a fair bit wider than the existing 24mm, 45mm and 85mm PC options in the Nikon range, and also a tad slower with a maximum aperture of f/4.
Unlike it’s longer focal length siblings it f/2.8 features a hugely exposed front element - obviously necessary to get such a wide angle field of view while retaining the adjustability of tilt-shift. Doesn’t make it any less scary to handle though…
The PC NIKKOR 19mm f/4E ED lens will cover full-frame FX sensor cameras and allows separate control over two axes of adjustment to make sure your horizons are level and your uprights are, well, upright. There’s 90° of rotation in each axis and they can be activated together or wholesale NFL jerseys individually for maximum control.
