Three competitively priced new Saramonic condenser mics and a Saramonic XLR shotgun microphone kit have been announced by UK distributor Kenro.
In the Saramonic PMIC range is the PMIC1, an entry-level mono condenser microphone. Connecting directly to a camera’s microphone socket via a standard 3.5mm audio cable, the PMIC1 weighs 55g, does not require a battery and features a low cut filter (100Hz).
Next up is the PMIC2 stereo condenser microphone and the PMIC3 surround condenser microphone, both offering a 75Hz low cut filter.
Being truly compact and lightweight, all the PMIC range of Saramonic condenser mics are at home in the hotshoe mount of mirrorless and DSLR cameras.
Naturally, all the PMIC range come supplied with 3.5mm audio cable and windscreen.
In addition to the new Saramonic PMIC range is the company’s SRAXM3 kit, which comprises two all-metal XLR shotgun microphones.
Offering a claimed ‘broadcast quality’, the XLR shotgun microphone kit plugs into any audio adapter with XLR inputs, including the company’s own MixMic, SRPAX2, SRAX107, SmartRig+, SRAX104 and BMCCA01.
Powered by +48V phantom power, the XLR shotgun microphone SRAXM3 kit comes supplied with windscreens for each microphone.
All Saramonic products, even entry-level ones, are compatible with the company’s line up of audio adaptors.
